Siglo's Seki Cutter
Posted: Thursday, March 04, 2010
By Gregory Mottola
What do Samurais and cigar smokers have in common? If the latter uses Siglo Accessory's new Seki Cutter, then they are both wielding sword-quality stainless steel.
Forged in Seki, Japan's City of Swords, the Siglo Seki cutter comes right off the anvils of Seki's famed sword makers, known for neat, precise cuts. A hole in the middle of the blade is designed to keep the action smooth by preventing the buildup of tobacco residue and minimizing metal-to-wrapper contact.
At only 2 inches by 1 3/8 inches by three credit cards thick, this streamlined cutter slips easily into a pocket. A leather grip and matching leather sheath come in eight colors.
It retails for HK$1,100, or approximately $141.
