Keyword Help

1. All searches are case-insensitive.

Example: sassicaia

Finds: Sassicaia and sassicaia.

2. Close match will find all words which sound like the words you enter.

Example: Close match for Nappa

Finds: Napa as well as Nappa.

3. Exact match will only find words spelled exactly as you enter them in the search box.

Example: Exact match for Nappa

Finds: Only Nappa.

4. Words or phrases may be connected using AND, OR, and NOT.
Example: Fontodi or Fonterutoli

Finds: All pages containing either Fontodi or Fonterutoli

5. To find a phrase, enclose it in quotes.

Example: "Barossa Valley Estates" and shiraz

Finds: Pages containing both the phrase "Barossa Valley Estates" and the word shiraz.

6. A * (asterisk) may be used as a wildcard character, but only at the end of a word or words.

Example: fore*
Finds: Pages containing forever, foreign, forest, etc.

7. Criteria are evaluated left to right.

Example: Chapoutier and Hermitage not Chapelle
Finds: All pages containing Chapoutier and Hermitage, then selects from those results any not containing Chapelle.

Relevancy Help

The relevancy score is a number which ranges from 1 to 1000. The higher the number, the more likely that document contains something related to what you are looking for.

Sorting Help

Matches to your query are sorted before they are presented to you. The default is to sort them by relevancy, with the highest-scoring relvancy documents appearing first. If you wish, you may sort alphabetically by the document's title (A to Z), or date (oldest to most recent). To reverse any of these sorts, simply click the checkbox for "reverse sort".
